The electricity supply:
About 1890 the Wupper the
first power station was built in the valley. This power station supplied the suspension railway and later
also the Barmer mountain road with stream. In the power station there were the counters with
which one
could steer the single segments of the electricity supply of the suspension railway. Only in 1988 the
control was moved in the leading state of the suspension railway.
Till then the leading-on duty had to call with the power station and then
the suitable counter was operated there.
