Car types
There were the following car
types with the Wuppertaler suspension railway:
There was B 98 of these series which were delivered in 1898 2 cars it
were the prototypes of the Wuppertaler suspension railway. These cars were used on
the test distance between zoo and Varresbeck.

B
00 These series was delivered in 1900 and substituted for both cars of
the series 98. The new cars were more efficient and
were improved on many corners and edges. The so-called first generation of car was driven by
four main stream engines with 25 kW. It was served these suspension
railways with the help of a roller counter. The stream is led by a stream rail in
the scaffolding and a stream buyer in the car in the suspension railway. On
the stream rail there were 500 volts of DC voltage. These cars reached a
speed of 900 this type of car was U/min braked by brake shoes with 4.5 Cash
atmospheric pressures to the wheels were pressed. The suspension railway could generate itself no

U 41 Also these series was an isolated case. This train had
a snail impulse as former. This type of car needed no more pressure air, he
pressed the brake shoes hydraulically to the wheels.
B
50 the first generation of the post-war period. With new bogies and with
the proven snail impulse. These cars were lighter than the present ones because
no more was riveted, but welded.

U 65 This train passed of two cars of the B 50 row. Here two cars were
connected with a joint in the middle and thus originated the first joint
car of the suspension railway. This suspension railway the " blue gentian " was called. 2 years
later followed another joint car.

B 72 of these series were delivered to 28 cars. These cars exist
of three parts: to the car A from the front part with leader's house, the car B
with the back part and the middle section in which two joints are. These
cars are manufactured from aluminum and are so lighter than
the other series. And thus these cars could be built a little greater and
take more passengers. The achievement of these suspension railways amounted to 45 kW engine
and in 1700 U/min.
All the other series, till 1974 in the application were were pulled from
the traffic. Only one car and a side car of the series of 1900 were
received and were restored to the 75th jubilee of the suspension railway with a lot of love.
Today this train calls emperor's car because in 1900 the emperor by this car has gone.
